Outback Steakhouse, Chandler, Arizona Restaurant Details

The food here is great. I took my mother for her birthday. She had a great time. The server did charge my card twice by accident. I can't say enough about the managers that I spoke with. Michael and Brian were so helpful to get the issue resolved. Food is awesome and management is awesome too!!

Was greeted by our waitress with a friendly smile and professional service, we will return, food was served hot & fresh. Looking for great service, ask for Randi.

My wife & I have been to this restaurant about 6 times in the past year. Our first experiences were very good.....but the last two (2) visits have proven to be disappointing for one of us.....me. My wife always gets the grilled Tilapia with several sides and it is always to her liking. I, on the other hand, typically like to have a steak and usually have the sirloin aka 'Outback Special'. During each of our last 2 visits, the steak was very tough to cut, difficult to chew and contained pieces of fat that I had to delicately discard but impossible to hide....shall we say. The sides (garlic mashed potatoes & side salad) were perfectly fine but the steak was a major let down. I thought the 1st bad experience was perhaps just a "fluke" and I let it slide. The 2nd bad experience with my steak should have been enough for me to complain to the manager & server but once again, I refrained from doing so as we were already in a rush trying to make a movie time slot that was rapidly approaching. However, I felt it imperative to file some sort of complaint to let their management know as well as prospective customers regarding our personal experience.....and mine in particular. The 'OUTBACK SPECIAL' as it's advertised is as follows: "Our signature sirloin is one of the leanest cuts, hearty and full of flavor. 6 oz. 10.99 8 oz. 13.99 11 oz. 16.99." I had the 8oz sirloin and ordered it "medium". I will very likely NOT order it again assuming we return. $14.00 may not be as much as one pays at a more expensive steakhouse perhaps but it's not exactly cheap either. Therefore, one would expect and deserves a decent cut of meat for that price range and I simply did not receive anything remotely close to that expectation. I believe that Outback needs to do some due diligence regarding their "quality control" and look into why their sirloins are coming out to one's table disguised as a meal fit to consume. I believe my German Shepherd would have also had a very "tough" time consuming this poor excuse for a steak !! Regretfully, Steve M.

I just had one of the juiciest st leaks in my life. I also love their strawberry bull drink. To top it all off, it started raining while we were there and they walked us to our car with umbrellas. It was a great piece of service.

The food is great for the price you pay.

I used to like the salmon here, but the new grill they cook it on pretty much ruins it. Be sure to ask for remolaude.
