Easily the best Mexican restaurant that I've ever dinned in. One of my recent trips included a meal that I would have to describe as perfect, and I do not use that term lightly; the service, the atmosphere, the queso, the salsa, the chips, the drinks, and the main course were all excellent and culminated in a perfect dining experience!

Where is the option for ZERO stars?

I'm so ashamed that umpteen visits later, I still make (made) the choice to come here. My only excuse is that the outdoor seating is unbeatable...especially now when the weather couldn't be better. The setup is perfect for a place to go after a long day at work, when all you want to do is relax and unwind with some good drinks and food. Unfortunately, the potentially relaxing atmosphere is completely overridden by intensely stupid service and subpar food. While the live music and outdoor seating is nice, Pablo's should consider investing their money in training their wait staff rather than live entertainment and high rent. It's unfortunate that a decent restaurant isn't in this location; it would be one of the hottest spots in Birmingham. Unless you enjoy rude, slow, and sarcastic waiters, being served the wrong drinks (that are neither corrected nor comped even after speaking up), hardened queso dip and cold chips, waiting an hour for your waiter to even show up, and then another hour for the wrong food to arrive (I've made the mistake of speaking up...just add another 30+minutes for the right food.... or eat what you get), then head across the shopping center to Don Pepe. I promise you'll leave happier. Pablo's is a complete waste of your time and money.

Unless it's to celebrate the grand opening of a new restaurant, tonight was the last time I'll set foot here.

The food and drinks are excellent. The service is atrocious.

the patio is the place to be...if you go on Friday night be warned and patient...but other than that, service was smiling and sweet. drinks and food set the mood.

The wait was an hour to get a seat outside. The waitress was very helpful and fast on bringing drinks. The food came out an hour later (an hour after being seated). The food was subpar. It tastes like microwave food. I feel for the waitresses and waiters working for this establishment.
