It is vary underrated, I love the palace food. My two favorites were the samosas and the kidney beans. That paired with their Nairobian punch made my day. Only complaint was some food tasted watery. I liked their chai latte more then Joe van Gogh's. The food is grate and better then other Ethiopian food chains in the triangle.

The place and vibe are nice. I appreciate that its a family owned business. But, I go there for the food and the pricing and portion sizes are an ABSOLUTE scam. Ordered the large goat curry and got barely anything. Unless you are a middle school child except to pay $40 to actually fill yourself up. I'm very upset with the quantity. The quality is decent.

I went yesterday for lunch. It is the 4th time my husband and I have been there. Every time has been a wonderful experience. The food is really good--the vegetables are cooked just right and not overcooked. The service is great. We do not go out to eat very often but the next time we do, Palace International will be high on our list of places to go.

This is a unique restaurant in the area that serves East African cuisine. I tried the chicken karanga with spinach and white rice, which was good. The portion sizes are large enough for two separate meals. The servers were great at making recommendations, and were also very attentive.

I did not rate this place four stars due to a customer service issue I experienced when I first arrived. I intended to have lunch here when I visited. According to their website and the sign on their door, lunch ends at 4 p.m. I arrived at around 3:30 p.m. and the door was locked. I called the listed number and the representative said they decided to shut down lunch early that day. I found this to be in poor taste and considered not returning ever again, but I decided to visit again for dinner.

While I enjoyed my meal, I am not sure if I will return anytime soon. The food was great, but the environment was more low key than I would have liked for a restaurant. Still, I say give this place a try if you want a unique East African meal and to support a locally-owned restaurant.
