05/15/2011 10:14 pmI had eaten here before and wanted to take my parents somewhere nice while they were in town for a visit to Pittsburgh. I was disappointed that the waiter was very inattentive and unfriendly, never coming back to check on our table once the food was served. If he had, he might have known that the Venetian fettucine was extremely bland and portion sizes unequal (my serving was half of what my parents' received. The Linguine Diavolo was good, but did not make up for the otherwise lacking experience. |

03/22/2011 3:50 amI just ate here with a friend this afternoon. We're in town for a professional conference, and we spent some time looking around for something to eat. Prices here are significantly higher than where we live, so we were really excited to find an Italian restaurant with reasonable prices! |

09/26/2010 3:41 pmMy husband and I went to this restaurant because we had last minute tickets to the symphony and had no reservations elsewhere. We allowed 1 hour 45 minutes to eat - we were seated right away on the 2nd floor at a corner fold-up table 'cleverly disguised' as a real table by a tablecloth, it was very uncomfortable to sit at and impossible to cross your legs. After about 15 minutes, the waitress took our food and drink order - she brought the drinks up to our level in about 10 minutes, 5 minutes later, we were served our warm drinks. LONG story short, 15 minutes before showtime, 1 hour 30 minutes later, we had no dinner. All other diners, including ones who were seated after us, were dining. My husband asked where the food was, she said she didn't know and would speak to the manager. 5 minutes later she came back and said "I'm sorry. The manager said you can just go." WHAT? He never came over to apologize, no gift certificate, NOTHING. Thank goodness for bread and water at the table. OH and they never replenished our 3 slices of bread and came around with water pitchers once. Please don't waste your time. A simple apology from the manager would have made this review unnecessary. |

12/07/2009 7:21 pmMy first visit to this location. The food is outstanding, and the service is amazing. I have visited some of the finest Italian restaurants in New York and none of them are quite as good as this. Do not hesitate to visit this restaurant! |
