Really good Mexican food. On the rankings of SF late night Mexican, I will add this to my list, which include El Farolito and Taqueria Cancun. Their portion sizes are really good for prices. Tables turn quick, and there is a giant salsa bar in the back, so be sure to get complementary chips for your meal.

I ordered the super steak and prawn with a side of rice and beans. When i say i was the happiest kid opening that door....man!!! Im actually eating my food as i write this review. Definitely some of the best Mexican food I've had in San Francisco

I really like this place. Great super burritos, and their door guy always watches my penny farthing bike so no one steals it. Good salsa, and quick service even when busy. a+.

I liked Pancho VIlla with their Previous model of operation.
Now, you walk in, place your order, then move to a cashier and pay, then wait for them to call your no
with your food when it is ready. Very bad model of operation. may be the line move faster but the results are disastrous.
In the past, we waited for a cook to take the order and cook it in front of us and we were able to tell her/him what to put inside the taco and what we didn't want.
Now, we can't see the food preparer make our food and it is delivered with sour cream we don't want,
items on the side instead of under with uncooked double tortillas with no taste, etc...
In the past, it was the best place to have a customized meal, now they do it their way and if you are lucky it comes out 75% of what you want. sometimes only 50%.

cant beat the price.

"Frequent lines" at these "cheap" taquerias attest to the "freshness and popularity" of its "better-than-usual" Mexican standards ("stomach-busting" burritos, "refreshing" agua fresca with "chunks of real fruit") that compensate for "nothing-special" decor; a staff providing "speedy" counter service "tries very hard to accommodate."
