Food:

This is a great Japanese bakery if you want to get a snack or a birthday cake for someone. My favorite dessert items are the green tea tiramisu and the strawberry shortcake. The prices are decent and the staff are really friendly. They also have bento boxes and Japanese snacks for purchase.

This is a nice Japanese café - specializing in pastries, cookies, sandwiches, noodles, and bento boxes. It's more of a grab and go - and pretty affordable for everyday snacking, lunching, etc. There is a little bit of seating, but don't count on it, and sometimes you need to wait a bit longer than you'd like for hot/freshly prepared stuff, but it's worth it. There is also a nice selection of teas, candies, beverages, and other assorted Japanese food-stuffs.

I really love the macaroons from Panya! They have a variety of flavor combinations but the Rose Creme and Matcha Chocolate are my favorites. It is the perfect balance and they are not too sweet. The macaroons are actually full, which lets you get the most bang for your buck in terms of macaroons; a lot of the ones i've had before had little to no filling.

EXTREMELY RUDE!!! The moron behind the counter would not let me purchase my items because of a $10 Credit card minimum and my total was $9.95 and I had no cash, I told him to charge me the extra .05$ and he insisted I purchase another item.. never going back

Panya Bakery is this Japanese bakery with lots of different Japanese treats, bread, Bento boxes and a kitchen in the back that prepares hot or cold authentic Japanese noodles (Udon, Soba) and other entrees. The bakery has a few tables inside as well as half a dozen tables to sit outside as well. The prices are very cheap, and it's a good place to stop by for a quick, good lunch.
