Papa John''s Pizza, Corpus Christi, Texas Restaurant Details

I AM NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER! The driver was going over 80 mph on the freeway wrecklessly where he could have easily hit me or someone else. I followed him back to the restaurant to tell the manager, the driver employee cussed and threatened me. I felt in danger so I called the police.

I called last minute to see if they were still makeing pizza i fels soooo bad tho any who they made me my pizza and was dilvered n less than 15 minute im sorry for that late call amd i apperiate it as i just moved to my new plz and have no food yet thanks again im soooo sorry again for the last call in i give it 10 out of 5 good pizza fast delivery man and every thing thanks soo much i might of not tip much but thats all i had sorry driver

I have paid extra for additional garlic dipping sauces multiple times when I have not received them. One forgotten extra sauce on occasion is understandable, but not nearly every single time. Once I had a delivery driver inform me that the three additional sauces I had ordered were in the box, only to discover that they were in fact not there. Today I ordered FOUR extra and was not given a single spare. It's such a shame that Papa John's is the best delivery pizza with the worst service. No experience was worse than ordering and PAYING for two pizzas, and only getting one delivered. After realizing that the second pizza had been left behind, the driver returned to get it and bought the same pizza they had originally made and left behind, except they put it back through the oven to heat it up again and burned the whole pizza. At least he tried, though, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Although another poor experience was having paid for pizza and a two liter soda, and having the soda left behind. That time the driver claimed he would return with the soda, which of course never happened. Stop stealing money from customers! I am so fed up with this nonsense and will not pay for delivery service and tip again. Should I ever resume being a Papa John's customer, I will only pick up in store to ensure I receive all of my purchase and my money is not constantly wasted.

I called in an order around 7:30-7:45ish on a Monday and the lady on the phone told me that it would be about 30 -45 minutes for delivery. I sat around and waited until 9 PM before I called the first time to check on this and was told that my pizza was just leaving. A little annoyed i asked them to give better timelines when first ordering. come 9:30 I called back and was told that my pizza just left and that they were sorry but they had gotten slammed and only had two drivers. At this point i am starting to get pissed as I had to give my 4 year old a sandwich and send him to bed as my 7 month pregnant wife had already given up and gone to bed. at 10:30 with no pizza being delivered, I called back to get my money back. Guess the driver realized that they were not going to be getting a tip and tossed the pizza and told the store that they delivered it as the lady on the phone told me that the driver had already made the deliveries and was already back. I will not be calling this store ever again.

My husband and I often stay at the Naval base behind this Papa Johns, but had never ordered from them. After a long day on Saturday we decided to try them out and gave them a call. We figured the delivery would be relatively quick since the restaurant was only about 2 miles from the hotel. The person on the phone was nice enough, took our order and told us the pizza would arrive in about 30-40min. We changed into to comfy clothes and waited for the pizza. An hour had passed before we called the Papa Johns again to inquire about our order. The person on the phone apologized and said that it was on the way right now. We waited another 10, 15, 20 minutes... We were about to call and cancel our order when the driver called to ask us for directions. My husband stood out in the street to flag the driver down which took about another 10 minutes. To our dismay, when we opened the pizza box the pizza inside was absolutely COLD. We had to microwave it to even eat it. It was so disgusting. We ordered a Meat "Lovers" and you could tell that this was made in a rush because it only consisted of a smattering of meat. Each slice contained only 1 or 2 pepperoni and small sprinkle of sausage. No hints of bacon or ham or any other meat. Some slices were just cheese. It was really a pathetic excuse for a pizza. We contemplated trashing the thing and just going out to eat, but were just too tired to get dressed and find a table at a restaurant so late at night, especially since we had waited an hour and a half to just get this pizza. We feel completely ripped off. We paid extra for Meat "Lovers" and were given a cheese pizza with a side of meat. First and last time ordering from this location. Really, really disgusting pizza. What a rip off.
