Food:

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten! I ordered grilled tilapia, and was brought some weird fried fish that was saturated in oil. I asked for vegetables, and all I got was bell peppers! And let me just say, I flippin' hate bell peppers! I guess they assume everyone adores bell peppers! The rice was even saturated in oil!
If I wanted a meal that was pure oil, I could of drank it straight from the bottle!

I rarely give out five stars simply because i think there's always room for improvement. That being said, although the food is awesome here, there are a few things that could be better, like the smell. Every time i go to Papa's and Beer, i come out smelling like a grease factory. They need more ventilation. They also need a better waiting area because it's absolutely packed here. The wait is normally about 20 minutes. They have an outsode sesting area that's covered and enclosed with plastic that could easily be used for a "holding area" for guests if they simoly added a propane heater during the winter months. Nevertheless, it's an overall good place to eat for families because it's very economical.

The reason why P&B are almost always so busy is because it's the best Mexican food in Asheville! 8-)

Restaurant is neat and clean service is excellent.. food is excellent.. it's a little pricey but well worth the money.. they give you large portions of food.. I highly recommend this restaurant.. is the best Mexican restaurant bad I have eaten in.. also the staff is very efficient and they go alt of their way to please you
