"If you leave hungry, it's your fault" at these "Texas-size crab shacks" cranking out "insanely gargantuan" helpings of Cajun seafood offering "tremendous value for the money"; the mood's "cheerful", although "service can be spotty" and many find it "too noisy" to boot.

This place has great seafood.
Very good oysters.
Pasta Mardi Gras is excellent.
Make sure you have enough time to wait if you arrive at dinner rush hour.

What a disappointing dinner. Food was very average. Onion rings were terrible. Shrimp were very small and oysters had been cooked for a long time. Price was ridiculously high. Service was good. There are many seafood restaurants in San Antonio that serve better dinners at a far better price. I will never visit Pappadeauxs again.

I was very happy that my food (milk) allergies and my mom's gluten intolerance were taken care of and given the proper attention by the excellent manager and staff. First-class dining experience from beginning to end with the salmon and scallops cooked with our special needs in mind. Compliments to the chef! Thank you Pappadeaux for making my visit to San Antonio a very pleasant one!

Great food, great service. Izzy was our waitress she was great, friendly, and always willing to answer your questions about the food and drinks. We were a party of 7 on a Monday night. Excellent staff at Pappadeaux. Get there early even on a Monday evening it got busy after 6:30pm.

YUCK!!!! WENT ON MY BIRTHDAY...THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE AND COLD. LONG JOHN SILVERS TASTES BETTER. VERY OVER PRICED. THE WAITRESS ACT LIKE SHE COULD NOT WAIT FOR MY FRIEND TO GIVE HER A TIP...LIKE,SOMEBODY IS GOING TO HAND HER A MILLLION. I'M GLAD I DID NOT PAY...I WOULD HAVE WALKED OUT.LOUD ATMOSPHERE.. FOOD WAS NOT CAJUN ...I 'VE TASTED MANY CAJUN ENTREES AND THIS JUST IS NOT IT.
