05/08/2015 12:45 pmSomething rather "charming" in the "yuppie theme park" that is the Meatpacking District, this "informal" bistro bats out "solid" French grub for "reasonable" dough; it's best known for its "great" all-seasons garden and "energetic" brunches fueled by "unlimited champagne cocktails." |

04/12/2015 4:12 pmI was there for my birthday party on Sunday afternoon. We waited for more than two hours and still didn't get what we order. Don't waste your time at this stupid place. |

07/28/2014 10:50 amRecently went to Paradou for a friend's birthday party this past weekend and my experience was absolutely horrible. Reservations were made and they were ready for us upon arrival. We sat in the back area which was very, very cramped. The waiter had to slide past us just to get to the other tables. Other customers also had to slide back and forth between us, knocking us around on our tables. We were seated at 12 PM. We did not receive so much as a glass of water before 12:30. Those at the table who got the "bottomless brunch mimosa" saw the bottom after only two glasses. Why? Apparently we were over our two hour time limit at the table. However, mimosas were not brought to the table until close to 1 o'clock. The first batch was flat and had to be sent back. From there on, only one refill was given. The sangria was listed to have lemons and limes in it but was nothing but red wine, ice and a straw. Bread for the table was brought out at 1:30 - an hour and a half after we had been there. When the food was brought out we had been there for over 1.5 hours. The waiter could not remember who had what dish. The food was sub-par and also misleading. "Tater tots" are soft crouton-esque potato bread squares. These were also sent back. The wait staff was sassy and inefficient. The bus boys rudely reached in front of us snatching plates and glasses without so much as an "excuse me." The manager was not only rude to us when we asked for accommodations but proceeded to argue with us in front of other customers. No one was pleased. Customer satisfaction is certainly not important at this restaurant. I have never I will never eat here again and will tell everyone I know to take their earned money elsewhere. |
