Solid food. I would recommend the benedicts over the omelettes for brunch. I've been here for dinner as well and it was also good. Heads up, it was fancier for dinner. It's worth giving this place a try if just for the baked goods.

Their pastries and baked treats are amazing and I recommend them to all of my friends, mainly as a fun occasional item, as they can get a just a tad expensive. There are aesthetically pleasing and mouthwatering desserts, soft flavorful breads, and buttery flaky croissants. The restaurant itself has a peaceful "Sunday afternoon" feel to it, with Parisan melodies playing softly in the background and wafting aromas of fresh bread that could stir up anyone's appetite.

The meals, in my opinion, are a bit hit-or-miss. The quality of the food plated and handed off to customers (palate wise and aesthetically speaking) varies. A sandwich you have ordered in the past and enjoyed, could come out the next time with more dijon mustard than you would have expected. Or it could simply look less put together in presentation. Besides some inconsistencies in meals, it is a fair place to stop by given its location. It is certainly something of a "diamond in the rough" in that regard.

Edit: I have not personally been back in some time. However, I do have friends I have directed that way and have had good experiences. I would certainly recommend giving the cafe/bakery a try and seeing how you feel for yourself.

I have a lot of hopes for Paris Bakery and Cafe, I'll certainly be keeping an eye on its development!

The absolute best dining and cafe experience in Anchorage. You could not do any better by flying to the City of Paris, you'd just spend flying money. Do yourself a favor and splurge on a treat from the Cafe Paris Bakery or enjoy a complete multiple course meal as GOOD AS CAN BE HAD!
