Paul's Pizza Roma, San Antonio, Texas, Pizza Restaurant Details

Food:

Would not recommend, service was nice, no complaints there, but the food- edible, but nothing more... such a lack of flavor! Very heavy, dry sturdy texture. I was hyped for the food since it looked and smelled pretty good but I did not enjoy and it was a waste of my money in the end =( so many other actually delicious restaurants available to choose from. Only tried Paul's, the Tsun Tsun menu looked way iffy. Great location though.

Food:

Been eating at Paul's for about 10 years now, off and on.
I've never had any bad food or "rude" customer service.
I would definitely recommend the Calzones or even the Pizza there itself is fantastic!
As for Sun Sun, I've only had it a hand full of times, so I can't make any recommendations but I certainly don't have any complaints about the Beef and broccoli!
The past two times I went to eat in, there was this waiter with excellent customer service, he was consistently checking if we needed refills. Very friendly.
The bar is also very nice!

Food:

Atmosphere is very nice, has a little quirk to it, but the food was pretty amazing. Had a canzone which was very good. And their Cantonese style Noodle soup, very flavorful and generous amount. Even got samples of their magaritas. Will defintely come back. It's more than just pizza

Food:

Use to be great. Now, not so much. My wife and use to love this place. But the last few times we went the food was bland. The garlic bread was just a store bought roll cut in half and some butter smeared on it. No garlic flavor at all! The Fettuccine Alfredo was so bland I could not eat it. I am not sure what happened to Paul's but over the last year the food has taken a nose dive. That was the last time my wife and I will eat here. So sad.

Food:

A friend celebrated her 50th birthday here, and I'm glad, because I probably would never have known how awesome this place was otherwise. They went out of their way to make it a special occasion. The staff was amazing and helpful, and the food was great. Now I know where to go next time I'm in San Antonio!
