Great atmosphere and the people there are very sweet. After trying the brewed coffee at every cafe on Height street I must say for $3 you can't go wrong here. Their coffee is rich and tasty but not bitter or diluted like most others charging the same price!.

Want an awesome brunch without waiting in a ridiculous line? Then head over here to People's Cafe! They are legit-skies people! They are a large menu and serve you crepes or breakfast burritos or omelets...just go look at the their amazing menu! I had the huevos rancheros and it was pretty tasty! It was big enough to split with my friend. We also got mimosas! Yummers! I know! I had one!
The staff there is super friendly. You're food won't be out in 5 minutes but that's because they are making everything. No heat or reheat and eat here! I want to go back and try some more menu items. I stumbled on this place after a night of fun in the Castro...I know, long walk of shame home but it was a bright and sunny day in the city and you just don't get those as often as you'd think!

A very coll little cafe on haight. The breakfast sandwiches are especially awesome. And the staff is really nice and mellow. You could sit here for hours just watching the show that is the haight. Check it out.

You can't really beat a place where you can get a Destiny Reading while having your dinner. This place epitomizes the Haight scene and is perfect to bring friends from out of town. The food hits the spot, but nothing to write home to. With free wi-fi and people watching, it's a great place to enjoy a meal.

People's Café is a solid café. Not the crème de la crème, but very good. (That's a lot of accents!) They have good coffee, good high-carb snacks, very good breakfast sandwiches (egg and cheese croissant- mmmmm), free wifi, and plenty of comfortable seating. If the coffee was truly stellar, I'd give it five stars.

After a remodel and menu revamp, this counter-serve Upper Haight daytimer returns with a more focused selection of well-priced breakfast standards and coffee plus sandwiches, salads and other American lunch options. The modernized cafe space features wood tables, metal chairs and pendant lamps, plus slate bricks behind the bar.
