Pepe's Grill & Cantina, San Antonio, Texas Restaurant Details

I went into Pepe Grill Cantina today to have a drink while my car was being repaired. I ordered a marg and also some flour tortillas. It was HAPPY HOUR. When I received my bill in addition to the marg they had charged $1.50 for 3 tortillas and butter!!!! I paid for it and then questioned the manager about it. He said that if he had gone somewhere and ordered something he would expect to pay for it. I told him that I had paid for it but I thought the amount was outrageous. The manager was very RUDE. I told him that I wouldn't be back. He said, Fine, then don't come back. Plus the tortillas were tough. If I could give this place a negative star then I would.

the foreshadowing of this bad dinner started when a former employe said she didn't eat there, she just drank there. then, after we waited an hour and a half for inedible food, all our orders were mixed up. All of the food was cold with the sole exception of the salsa which was actually quite warm. Others left, we should have taken their lead. The service was okay, but we were later informed that there were only 2 cooks in the whole kitchen and one wasn't even there. It was the worst restaurant experience in living memory! We give it negative 5 to the infinite power stars.
