03/20/2010 3:37 pmPico De Gallo on South Street is the worst Mexican food I've ever tasted. Taco Bell even beats this restaurant in quality. We ordered nachos, a chicken fajita and a beef and cheese burrito. The portions were tiny and nearly inedible and I certainly didn't want to pay for dried ground beef and overcooked chicken! The service was rude, unfriendly and condescending and my friends and I actually went down the street to buy supplies to make our own nachos to fill ourselves up! |

01/10/2010 9:25 pmI have never written an oline review of anything in my life, but I am compelled now because this was such a horrible meal and experience. We used to go to this place back when it was a BYOB, but much has changed. A condescending server, chips out of the bag, and some salsa that tasted like liquified celery started the meal off. My Burrito tasted like a can of Cambell's Black Bean Soup wrapped in a torilla. My friend's cheese quesadilla was basically some Kraft Mexican Blend melted on flour tortilla with a side of iceberg lettuce (this was literally all that was on the plate - at least Chili's would have given us some sour cream and quacamole out of a bag. Or how about some Pico de Gallo?!). After two bites, I told them I was unhappy and they took the burrito back. The grand finale came with the bill: they charged me for the burrito I didn't eat. Wow, did this place suck! |

07/19/2009 6:43 pmWe have been fans of Pico since we first discovered it over two years ago, so it is disappointing to be writing a negative review. The service has always been slow, but the food and prices made it worthwhile. On our last visit, a pitcher of margarita cost $27.50 and had a store-bought taste, not the fresh squeezed we'd been accustomed to. No chips were brought to our table, although the tables around us received them. And the beans, a former favorite, came in half the portion as last time and were nothing special. However, as always, the tortillas were excellent. We hope that the owner can turn things around and return Pico to the great eatery it once was. |

06/06/2009 3:54 pmI ordered a Chicken Quesadilla... noticed that it only came with cheese & chicken so I asked for them to add some peppers and onions in addition to a side of Guac. |
