This is the WORST hillbilly establishment I have EVER been too!!! It has been recently been taken over by Dewy Price and the rest of the Clampetts and they all have the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! These people can't spell business let alone run one! I will NEVER go this Pig N Whistle EVER again. The food is less than ok and waaay too pricey! The management team are a crew of idiots that could learn a lot from a dummy.

food is good - take out portion was shorted. Ordered a pound of pulled chicken and pulled pork each. Probably got close to pound of pork but not even half pound of chicken. Cost too much. Will not go back.

As I stepped into the Pig n Whistle, great smells filled my nostrils. Images of BBQ sandwiches piled high with pork and coleslaw, full racks of ribs, and sweet tea ran through my brain. I was about to experience the most euphoric BBQ meal ever had. Unfortunately, this dream turned into an epic nightmare. After being seated and a pleasant waitress took our drink order, we waited and waited and waited. Fortunately I was with people that were at least somewhat tolerable. The sweet tea was warm, the soda was flat, and the water was, well, water. I eyed that full rack of ribs on the menu, licking my lips and forgiving the thus far slow service. After uttering the magical "full rack of ribs please", I was responded with words that I did not know even existed in the barbecue restaurant lingo - "I'm sorry, we're out of ribs." Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? Okay, whatever, just give me the pork sandwich. After sitting around with empty drink glasses, looking extremely parched, for the better part of a half hour, our glasses were refilled as our hunger (and anger) continued to build. It took about an hour to go from order to food, when we finally received our meals (which was ALL the same - several BBQ sandwiches). The sandwiches came out over the course of about 10 minutes as those with food awkwardly stared at the plateless innocents that surrounded them. I began having visions of the Donner party reoccurring in the middle of Bartlett, TN. I must say, the food wasn't bad and was relatively cheap. However, I think panhandling for 30 minutes outside McDonald's then grabbing a McRib not only would have been a better use of my time but also my patience. But I guess it was alright. 4/5.
