Pizza Hut, Chesapeake, Virginia Restaurant Details

If I could give zero stars I would! This place is horrible and always SLOW! Ordered online for pickup (ready in 20 mins)....an hour goes by and finally get our order. Unacceptable! Got home checked the order, no marinara with breadsticks (not a huge deal but since waiting an hour, not happy).

When I called it took 1:30 for someone to even ANSWER the phone. I spoke with Renee who was the manager. She was no help! Wouldn't let me get a word out. Told me to call Shawn. Her reasoning because she was short staffed and whatever. That isn't my problem and doesn't justify why I'm having to wait an hour for an order.

Will be mailing corporate and no longer going back to this place!!!

Food:

I had a free pizza coupon from corporate because I suggested the automatic selection of garlic butter on every hand tossed pizza should be changed to no garlic butter being the auto selection. I called and ordered carry out and used my free pizza coupon and said, Do Not Put Garlic Butter on my crust. She repeated it back to me. I picked it, smelled garlic in the truck, asked my girlfriend's opinion and she smelled garlic when I brought it into the house. The first time I tried to use the coupon they were out of cheese. Just fire everyone and close this store.

Ordered online at 6:50pm on Tuesday Jan 19 for 7:20pm delivery. They called because my card was declined. I asked to give the # over the phone, and the employee said he couldn't because the order was cancelled and I had to redo it online (bs).

I redid the order online and was called again because card was declined. This guy took my # finally, and he said thank you it worked. A hour goes by and I get another call saying they just received my order??? I told him to cancel it and have a good night. 15 minutes later I get ANOTHER call verifying I wanted to cancel my order... Very poor management. I'm a long time Pizza Hut customer, but I will no longer eat here. Stay away.

Food:

Just finished my letter to corporate. How can a business start their Sunday during football season with common inventory out of stock yet this store is near a Walmart, Sam's Club, BJs and Food Lion? You order a pizza online for future delivery then when calling the store to add to the delivery, you learn you'll be charged ANOTHER delivery charge!? You ask if it can be waived since the pre-existing order hasn't been delivered yet and told "no" and "its only another $2.49." You also learn on that call of their inventory shortage so the supreme pizzas will be short of vegetables...oh and that large order you placed an hour before for future delivery???...no one ever called you to say it would also be missing those ingredients. You happen to find out on that very call YOU made! Uhm. Just astounding. So much for ordering pizza at this location, trusting the order can be fulfilled and God forbid you want to add to that existing order...generating more revenue for the store...they want to penalize you with additional delivery charges before anything left the store!!!!!!! The whole experience was sad. I canceled that entire order and chose to drive 15min each way to get Papa Johns.

Food:

Ordered at 730 online and was told food wouldn't be delivered until 10. The food arrived at 825 however both pizzas were completely wrong. Sauce, meat, and cold. Called to complain but was redirected and had to explain four times only to get another set of pizzas remade the wrong way yet again. It is now 924 and I want my money back. If they don't give it back I'm calling corporate this is ridiculous
