I use to work there and needless to say I do not intend to eat there ever again. Knowing how everything was made and the lack of effort put into the food just made it that much less apeasing. The Chinese food was pretty good, but then I saw a large bucket labled MSG an that pretty much kept me from trying that again. If you want pizza from some place that isn't mainstream or just good pizza don't be fooled by this place. Instead go to miss ellies, Rome's pizza, or pizza Italia.

I am sad to say, but this will not be a good review. If you go to this restaurant after reading, you do so at your own disappointment.

Drove up to the restaurant and the door was wide open (it was 58 degrees at the time) and we had to ask that it be closed, which they did. No one was in the restaurant on a Friday evening around 8:45 except the staff who were hanging out and talking at the counter. The first thing we noticed were the tiles on the floor when you walk in which say COOKIE FACTORY. Seems that was the name of the previous occupant and the new owners didn't feel the need to remove those tiles. Once you walk in there is no one to greet you and you have time to notice the purple and orange walls and fake flowers on the walls. One of the guys talking at the counter told us to sit anywhere (rock music was playing over the speakers). We sat down and were brought over 2 carry out menus and were told that they haven't yet ordered the dine-in menues with plastic covers. The menu lists "soup de jour". When we asked what it was, we were told that they don't have soup, but then remembered they do, but it would be sweat and sour soup from the china restaurant next door, which they also run (also empty). He then flipped our menu over and sure enough, the back side was a chinese food carry out menu. We ordered a hot tea and he said he'd have to get it from the china restaurant and out the front door he went. When he came back 10 minutes later with the tea and a can of coke, we ordered a ceasar salad w/chicken, small pizza and Fetuccini Alfredo w/shrimp. We told him he could bring the salad right away and the other dishes together with an extra plate as we would be splitting both the pizza and fetuccini. The salad took 25 minutes to arrive at our table, to which he said took so long because he was putting it on 2 seperate plates...hummm. The ceasar salad was truly the worst I have ever had and came with thick nasty dressing in 2 plastic cups with lids (obviously meant for carry out). We had to apply the dressing and do our best to mix the salad, which wasn't fresh and the chicken was hard around the edges. Within a reasonable time (10-15 minutes) he brought out the pizza and fetuccini with shrimp. The fetuccini looked like dog food and tasted worse than any box/microwavable fetuccini I have ever had. In fact, it may have come from a box as there was nothing creamy about it (very thick, tasteless and off color sauce) and tasted badly. I still held out hope for the pizza. Afterall, they are a pizza joint and pizza is in their name, so surely it has to be good, right? Not right. The pizza was terrible as well, greasy, undercooked dough and sauce that was way too sweet. I don't believe it was from a box because I saw the pizza ovens in the back, but they may want to consider switching to box pizza, as it could not be any worse. I also didn't mention that they never brought silverware or napkins to our table and when I got up to grab some from another table (after having been seated for 30 minutes and the salads had already been delivered to our table, one of the guys came out to the dining room to tell me I just beat him to it. I guess 30 minutes and delivering the salad and going back to the kitchen wasn't enough time.

Some may think that I am being overly critical, but really, I am not. I eat out often and have never written such a poor review of any restaurant...ever before now. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had and my wife agreed. It was very obvious that they do not get much dine in business and are set up mostly for carry out, but even then, the food is not good. I suspect that the positive reviews below may be from themselves or friends, as there was nothing to find redeaming about this place. I wish these guys well, but suspect that this pizza/chineese restaurant will not be in business for long. They may want to consider a different line of work.

I am from Louisiana and was visiting my boyfriend in San Antonio. We randomly chose this pizzeria because the pictures on the ad we had for it looked really appetizing! I never expected it to be soooooooo good! I think we ordered the classic pepperoni, which doesn't sound fancy at all. It was gourmet style pizza that tasted like fresh homeade crust! I felt like I was in Rome while I was eating it! I know it had fresh garden tomatoes and fresh basil on it. The cheese added the most amazing flavor for a perfect pizza!~ AHHHHhhhh!! Those fresh ingredients make a world of difference in a pizza. I wish i could order and have this stuff flown into my state! When i complimented the chefs behind the counter, they acted like it was no big deal. haha. The $20 we spent on that large pizza was well worth every penny!
