Plaza Restaurant, Orlando, Florida Restaurant Details

Really liked this restaurant. It is really small and not as well known as some of the others in the Magic Kingdom. Their food is different then most other restaurants and they give you a lot of it. Service was pretty good,

Food was not great and so expensive for a sandwich. Save your money for a neat restaurant with some character.

My husband and I went to the Plaza restaurant recently and I was disappointed. The restaurant was dirty and run down looking. One of the light fixtures was even missing a shade. Our server seemed like he was in a hurry to get us out of the restaurant and he wasn't Disney friendly, if you know what I mean. We came in close to closing time. However, that shouldn't make a difference with this being a restaurant inside the park. I'm almost certain they are packed until closing every night. The food was good, though nothing fancy, sandwiches etc. The prices were decent, especially for a Disney World, sit down restaurant, in the theme park. I just wish they'd put a little more effort into the cleanliness of the place. It was very unlike Disney. Hopefully they get the quality up to par in the future. One thing I will say is this place has a great view of the shows. If you time your reservation right, you can eat while watching the fireworks at the Castle.

First, the restaurant is not closed. I was there just a few weeks ago. The service was great and the food is amazing. Everyone at my table ordered a different sandwich and we all loved our food. Due to some of the construction by the castle at Disney, most people don't see this hidden gem at the moment and move on to the other, busier restaurants nearby.

Great food and atmosphere! The ice cream is amazing and the service is great! We even saw the "Mayor" give out a free dessert. You never know what can happen in Disney!
