Service and atmosphere were pretty good. The food was really bad however. Had fairly high expectations for this place and was horribly disappointed in the general tso's chicken. For the money I would have expected far better food. Also happy hour is only at the bar which was also disappointing.

Very nice atmosphere but that unfortunately made us assume that the food would be on par with the decor. The place gives off a very nice upscale yet casual vibe, however, the food does not deliver. Our service was outstanding which is to be expected since there were only 3 tables in such a large establishment when we went. That being said, our waiter was excellent.

We got the chicken satay and yellowtail jalapeno for starters. Satay is nearly impossible to mess up and was tasty but nothing noteworthy. The yellowtail was not very good and I questioned the freshness.

For our mains, we had fried rice, the red curry, and the beef tenderloin meals. (The duck was sold out unfortunately)

The overall feeling for all dishes was that they were very bland and that it seemed as though the ingredients were not very high quality.

Some thai flavors came through in the red curry with the coconut milk, but if you've had this type of dish anywhere else around town, it would have had much more flavor as this one was pretty bland. The general vibe and taste I got was as if it were something you could cook at home with some chicken, bell peppers, and coconut milk.

The spicey fried rice we ordered also came across pretty bland.

The filet in the beef tenderloin was tender but had more of a 'roast' texture than a tenderloin texture. This is likely from being cooked low and slow to make it more tender, another indication of lower quality ingredients.

All in all, nothing was, `bad`, it was just very OK and generally pretty bland and forgettable. At $100 for the meal, there are at least a dozen places for 1/3 that price with significantly better dishes.

I would like to see the folks that run this place make some changes (ideally in the kitchen) because it's a very cool looking place with a fun vibe that could be great.

Diverse menu with plenty of crowd pleasures. They do a good job noting allergens too. I would highly recommend the tea leaf salad.

Plum's atmosphere is awesome, and the food more or less matches the pricing level for it. I was a little disappointed with the pad thai though as flavor was lacking, but our pork dumpling and spring roll appetizers were outstanding. When they realized they had no more of the cabernet we ordered, the waiter brought us out a better bottle at no additional cost.

The waiter was great save for the fact he did not check on us for 20-25 minutes at a time, which was probably our fault for telling him in the beginning we wanted to relax and drink/eat appetizers for a while. Overall great asian place.

I used to love Plum but then they changed their recipe for Pad Thai (and other dishes). The new recipe has absolutely no flavor and isn't worth the $14 or whatever they charge for it. I asked for some of the chili sauce that comes with the beef skewers appetizer to make it better and they wanted to charge me $2 for it. When I complained about the food, nothing was done - my complaint wasn't even taken seriously. I will never come back to this restaurant and will pass my sentiments along to others.
