10/24/2015 10:16 pmWent there, with a friend, sure that the Polish hospitality will make me feel like home ( I'm Polish). The man was very nice and said he will get us a great deal with this, and this, and that. Because it was a deal- we thought that the plates will be rather small so we could try everything- unlike the regular sized dishes. He ended up bringing us two soups and 5 other plates+ juice. We spent 50 dollars on a two person meal, which we ate 1/3 of. We felt, frankly, screwed. It was no deal and it looked like the man just ordered, for us, 7 regular dishes. |

09/24/2015 4:14 amSept 2015. We are considering polish restaurants for a wedding luncheon in the future. We looked everywhere and no where was there a Polish restaurant close enough to St. Mary of the Angels or the beautiful Catholic churches (St.Stanislaw Kostka/Trojcowa Church) where we could eat and head downtown for a photo session. We Google'd this place and boy was it DELICIOUS. We had: ogorkowa soup (pickle soup), kapusnica (cabbage soup) and a plate of a kotlet with cartelized onions on top of potatoes, the beets and mizeria were fresh. The kotlet was pounded before breading because we even heard it. Homemade kompot (fruit juice) and nasleniki (cheese blitz) with applesauce. All this for about $30. I am definitely already choosing this location for about 30-40 of my closest bridemaids, groomsmen and family to enjoy. Everyone should come in and give this tiny little, big older building. I will be back a few more times before my wedding date, that's for sure! |

08/16/2015 6:49 pmGREAT food, my rating would've been higher if not for the waiter. He's friendly, but he'll charge you WAY to much, and gives you a weeks worth of food! He's scum! |

07/24/2015 7:18 pmGreat experience. Told Greg we were introducing our colleague to polish food and he brought out an amazing meal of pierogies, 2 types of soup (white borscht and cabbage), kielbasa, potato pancakes, cheese blintzes, and cabbage rolls as well as homemade juice. Amazing food and excellent service. Don't pass this place by!!!!! |
