Pointe Afta, Waterville, Maine Restaurant Details

Food:

It wasn't advertised anywhere that to have dinner here after the Bruin's alumni game you had to have tickets. They didn't announce it at the game, nor have it on the flyer advertising the game, nor on Facebook, heck not even a sign on the front door. I sat down at a table only to be awkwardly and somewhat rudely told to leave because I didn't have a ticket. Jeez, I just wanted to have a beer and some wings and to watch the current B's play on the big screen after the alumni game (I left a few minutes early because I figured it would be packed since the alum were going there after the game, I would've stayed for the whole thing and spent my money on some B's merch had I known)...been coming here for years to get food, brews, and watch games but not any more.

Come visit us at the Pointe!! We have Monday night trivia with great dinner specials and half price apps. Thursdays we have Lenny and Joel from Emerald Sky who are always a good time. PLUS we serve king and queen cut prime rib au jus Thur.-Sat. @ 4pm:-) can't wait to see ya!

Went there for game #7, series between the Boston Bruins and the Tampa Bay Lightning Conference Finals and to my surprise there was NO volume on any the TVs for the game. I thought it was "sports bar." Not to mention the fact that it took 15 mins to get a beer. The wait-person said "they were slammed" and that food from the kitchen would be slow. I left after the first period and found a place where I could hear the game.

Free live music during the summer months on wednesdays. Neil The One Man Band. Very good show!!! Plus the food was great and fast!
