Pom's Thai Bistro, Jacksonville, Florida Restaurant Details

To begin, the restaurant looked straight out of a Sear's catalog. The art was terrible stock pictures you would find in the puesdo asian inspired section at kmart. None of the dishes or glasses matched at all, and not in that cute "kitschy" kind of way.

The service was also awful. Our table was ignored for ten minutes by two waitresses. I had to walk down the stairs to the bar to get my own drink , and somehow I got it faster then they ever could. The food was decent. The restaurant was very clean. It was terribly obvious that the the wait staff had no idea what they were serving to people, or how to describe it without using the words "ummm" and "like" over and over.

If I am paying upscale prices, I expect upscale service. I did not get it.
