The scallop and pork belly dish is awesome - some of the best pork belly I have ever had. And, the pimento cheese mashed potatoes are a nice twist on a favorite!

I had lunch here recently and it was a good experience. The place was full but a couple of tables empty at 1:00. Every time I ride by it seems very busy. I had the turkey club sandwich with avocado. It was excellent. The serving size was huge. I saved half the sandwich for later. At lunch, you place your order and pay at the counter. Then someone brings your order to you. They were swift. It's a little loud when busy, but you know if must be good if that many people are there.

I have had several pleasant experiences at Poppyyseed, but tonight I tried the pizza. I have to say that it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Not only was it generally tasteless, but the marinated chicken was dry without flavor. My experience may be an anomaly, so I hope my critique will prompt management to take a look at their pizza offerings.

A really great locally owned and operated place which mixes casual dining and case / counter sales / catering with sit-down dining. While not fine dining, the menu often includes offerings you would find at high-end fine dining establishments.

I love everything about Poppyseed Market
- Food: So yummy - The case foods that can be a great accompaniment to something you have prepared for dinner or you can call on your way home and they will have it ready to serve so you can feed your family.
The lunch menu is versatile and so delicious. As if the sandwiches could be any better - but somehow the chips with ranch dressing manage to make the whole meal even better. The homemade pizzas are wonderful.
If you haven't tried their dinner menu - you should plan to go - TODAY! Scallops - yum! Salmon - so good! The catering is also wonderful - we have used them for meetings at the office and a gathering at home - everyone wants more!
- Service: Everyone there has a smile on their face and they make you feel like they are so glad YOU chose to eat there
- Atmosphere: Casual and welcoming!
