Great atmosphere, great waitstaff and knowledgable Sommeliers. A little pricey for what you're getting, but it's still a great date night place in the Ballard area.

The happy hour in the back bar is a fun and funky vibe, definitely worth a trip here! Beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures. The bartenders generally make rounds and are pretty quick.

I've been here multiple times. Some of the things the chefs do best are the charcuterie, with a delectable pâté, also (maybe it was just during restaurant week) there was a pork dish in a small cast iron skillet-absolutely delicious! I would recommend absinthe with dessert, there is a nice, but not over-the-top selection to choose from.

This was a restaurant was nothing special, and in fact, for the price it was less than special.
The waiter said the appetizer was smoked King salmon.....it was certainly not king.
My main was a variety of shellfish in a bowl of lime coconut milk. It was tasty, but skimpy for $25. The people I was with had the Steak Frites, and I don't recall seeing a smaller more lonely piece of meat on a plate. I think the frites were from frozen stock. I had the Profit roles for desert and the ice cream was so old it was crystalline. I think the profit roles themselves were fresh. Great presentation, lousy product.
The staff was great. We were well attended to. I just wish we had spent our money somewhere else.

I don't have much to say that hasn't been said already, but wanted to add my voice to that of so many others who are raving about this place. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was amazingly professional and over-the-top friendly; we'd almost go back just for the service.

Ate here a few months ago and I'm still remembering perfect brunch and dinner we had here. I figured why not post a well deserved review. I got the chanterelle Omelet and my guest had the fluffy French Toast. The Cognac peach preserves really bring it to another level. Brunch was perfect.

You can tell they really put a lot into this Cafe. The classic interior sets a perfect atmosphere. The staff is on-point just like the food. Very Trendy spot but loud at times. We came back had awesome diner on our last night in town. We will definitely come back and visit soon.
