An ambitious hot spot sporting a stunning triplex design, this cool Huntington scene attracts a vibrant crowd with an eclectic Italian menu elevated by an excellent wine list and servers who know their food; though a minority says the clublike atmosphere can get "too loud", regular live music in the bar area is an added benefit, while prix fixe options help cut down the hefty tabs.

Thanks Joe for helping us when we were in a jam to feed the cast & crew of XXistence TV Series. Everyone loved the Salads & Pasta. That was just what we needed to get everyone ready to do the next scene. Richard Kern Executive Producer XXistence.

Nice place but over priced food. I'd rather go to my corner Italian restaurant and get more and better food for the money.

The atmosphere and service was great, aside from the fact that we were not served water, or asked how our main course was. I was very disappointed with the food. For an appetizer I ordered "Beer and Clams" unaware that the clams came raw. I dont exactly know where beer fits into the equation because the clam is served raw with a tiny scoop of sorbet, covered in what seemed to be Frank's Hot sauce..Need I go further? They took a chance at something new, for me it did not work whatsoever. For my main course I ordered the Branzino Filet, which came with 3 small pieces of Broccoli Rabe, and two very small potatoes halved into 4 pieces (as generic as can be). The filet was small but tasted pretty good. Finally for desert I had Vanilla Gelato which tasted good, not much can go wrong there. Because I paid the Long Island Restaurant Week price fixe cost of $27 I am not going to say the quality or amount of food I received was not worth the money, but I would probably never want to pay full menu prices which seemed to average at around $35/main course.

both a pizzeria and full fare sit-down restaurant. tried both on multiple occasions. great specialty pizza selections. the full menu food is fabulous! dining room wait staff was a bit inattentive.

Thank you again for an amazing dining experience for Father's Day Brunch. If you dine at Porto Vivo you will be well taken care of and delight everyone of your guests. I started off with a beautiful calamari salad (calamari was not overdone and delicious!) followed by a fruity mango smoothie that soothes, my favorite entree had to be the sliced marinated skirt steak an array of cheese asparagus and topped salsa verde (amazing). Great decor and chic dining. My Fathers also received a special gift to top it all off. You guys are the best and I will be back for more. Thanks again!!! :)
