01/25/2016 12:24 amA "complimentary taste of Prosecco" provides a fitting welcome to this "romantic" River North Italian, a little "piece of Venice" serving "well-prepared" dishes that "aren't outrageously priced"; "professional" staffers offer "spot-on" wine recommendations, and though "busy" nights can be "noisy", devotees revel in the "energetic vibe." |

11/19/2015 5:31 pmProsecco is just lovely. Went on a Wednesday night for a romantic dinner. Would definitely recommend making a reservation! We were seated immediately and served prosecco-love the nice touch there! The decor is very nice, was decorated for Christmas and it felt very warm and comforting. The food was OUTSTANDING! We ordered a half order of the Orecchiette Tartufate, the Filetto Di Manzo and the Saltimbocca Di Vitello. We finished off with the flourless chocolate cake. Our server was Christian--he was phenomenal; very attentive and his wine recommendation was perfect. It was such a nice evening and I will definitely be back! |

03/17/2015 10:32 pmI have been here a few years ago but I was young so I don't remember my experience but I just went again a few nights ago with my uncles', not for food, just drinks. The bartender, Kevin? I think, made my friend and I the most amazing drinks ever! If you don't know what you want, give him a good idea of what you like and he can surprise you with an awesome drink! |

08/31/2014 4:51 pmReally liked our evening at Prosecco. Foremost the service was unfailingly excellent at every contact point at the restaurant - greeter, bartender, waiter and owner. Everyone treats you with cheerful interest and desire to serve. The food was very good - our caprese salad was especially good as the waiter suggested a special version with their house-grown heirloom tomatoes combined with a buffalo mozzarella that was to die for - incredibly creamy and rich - topped with a basil infused olive oil. Mains were very good too. If you're interested in a romantic evening or a special night (it's justifiably expensive), you will not leave disappointed. |

05/21/2014 8:45 pmWe really loved this place. It's a little cramped; but, the service was great. Nice wine list. And the food is solid. We've also gone there just to sit at the bar and have a cocktail. It's a nice place to wind down on a Thursday night. |
