Walked past the place a few times and thought it looked pretty nice, so we decided to give it a shot. The entrance/courtyard looks awesome, but when you see the actual building, it looks kind of abandoned. We weren't even sure if we were supposed to go in the way we did as it looked like the neglected backside of a building. That's not my main concern, but I figured it's worth mentioning. I've eaten at plenty of dumps that had great food and service. The interior was quite a treat. The ambiance is definitely interesting, but it's about a thousand times darker than it needs to be. It doesn't help that the place feels like a maze. It felt like a horror movie scene. I thought the host was going to lead us through the dark maze to Dracula's lair where we'd end up being on the menu. Anyways, we decided on pizza (not exactly a signature dish, I imagine, but if you want to find the best, you've got to try them all). The toppings were quality, but the crust and sauce were just plain mediocre. I'd say they were akin to a five dollar frozen pizza. For a $25 pie, that's unforgivable. That is pizza blasphemy and the gods of za shall pass their judgement. Otherwise, the service was fantastic. Perhaps I'll return to try something else, and be blown away and raise my score. Though, judging by the other reviews, that's unlikely. They seem to fancy skimping on quality while also gouging the prices. Regardless, it's still worth seeing the inside of a mythological creature's den.

This was the first time I'd been there, and my boyfriend and I went for a special diner. This place was amazing. Our waitress, Megan was so awesome and friendly. She was great to explain things we didn't know about on the menu. We sat at one of the round booths (if you're making reservations or they have one open when you get there I suggest asking to sit there because the atmosphere was great!). I had the lasagna (which was amazing) and my partner had the parm chicken (which he raved about) and stuffed mushrooms (best ones we've had). All in all so happy with the food, experience, staff and restaurant as a whole. we will return!!

Most of the menu I must admit isn't that great but some items are to die for. Even after leaving Wisconsin I have to come back to get the manicotti. I get it half half tomato and cheese sauce. I wish they would bring back the old fresh bread.

The best thing I had on my visit was the bruschetta and wine. And they were just ok. The pasta tasted microwaved and the service was not very good. The only thing this place has going for it is the atmosphere. The restaurant itself was beautiful but not worth it.
