Stopped in after work one night with my wife for drinks. The bartender mentioned their happy hour specials for half price appetizers so my wife and I split the crab cake and clams casino. We loved both enjoyed them so much we decided to stay and sit down for dinner. Our server was very friendly. He recommended the seafood trio to me. The presentation was great and the food was even better. I was able to try halibut, sea scallops, and grouper. Each item had its own unique sauce. My wife got the salmon special. We both loved our meals and have found our go to spot for seafood. Would highly recommend!

I have hosted several professional events at the Protocol Restaurant and the staff and service are always top notch. The food is fantastic and always well recieved. Also having had the chance to have dinner at the restaurant I can truly say the seafood is the freshest in Buffalo. If you looking for a place to host an event or for a nice night out you can go wrong with the Protocol.

We are residents of Florida and occasionally travel to the Buffalo area. While it has been several months since we ate at the Protocol, we are still discussing the fine dining experience. The help, food and ambiance were without fault. We intend to stop there the next time we are nearby, ...... you should too.

I'm not a food or restaurant critic. I'm a customer experience critic and consultant. I was the guest speaker on Tuesday morning at Protocol for the WNY NHRA professional development event where I spoke about the importance of the customer experience and viewing every decision through your customers' eyes in order to establish a customer-centric culture. Ironically, my AV equipment failed just as I was about to begin. It was at that moment that Jean Burke, the server assigned to our group that morning, moved swiftly into action. Without hesitating she called the owner who raced to the restaurant and in the middle of our room full of tables full of people, he climbed a very tall ladder and changed that bulb. Disaster averted because of the fast thinking, action and customer focus of one Jean Burke. She didn't stop to consider what her boss might think about rousing him from bed that early because she was too busy thinking about the customer's needs. He didn't stop and think of the 10 priorities on his to-do list that had nothing to do with changing a projector bulb that morning because he too was focused on the customer needs at hand. So regardless of how wonderful Im sure the food must be at Protocol's, I'm a forever fan. They get it. Does your restaurant or company?
