My family and I ate here regularly in 2004-05 (?) when they first opened. It was GREAT then: beef brisket (juicy, smoke ring, smokey flavor), pulled pork (moist, crispy ends), everything (including staff) was GREAT! Moved away and now back. Ate there twice since we have been in the area-HORRIBLE both times. Today (Mothers Day-2015) was worst and last! Portions were half what they used to be...not bad cause the food was disgusting. Daughter asked for smoked sausage at 1:00 pm and the apathetic employee said they were out. Two in our party got combination plates (pulled pork and beef brisket). The pork was soggy and had the consistency of a meat pâté soaking in pork broth and grease. The beef brisket had no smoke ring (solid gray color), dry-almost dehydrated, and offensive non-brisket flavor. Only two types of sauce available and they tasted the same with the difference being one was tomato based, the other was vinegar based. On top of the terrible food none of the staff were decent at a minimum. Totally unconcerned with providing a positive customer service experience. I use to refer people to this place, NEVER AGAIN! If you want decent food or service: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! We support local, sustainable food whenever we can, which is why we went here today instead of a regional, commercially supported bbq joint. Not worth it if the finished product taste terrible.

Terrible bbq. What a disappointment. Went there with my girlfriend because we had seen it a few times. Love bbq. Pulled pork was awful. Cole slaw was awful. Fried okra was overcooked. The hush puppies weren't even good. I ended up throwing it away and going to 5 Guys to have dinner. $21 for two of us to have dinner, and it went in the trash. If you're looking for legit bbq, I suggest Smokey's Bbq shack on Chapel Hill Rd in Morrisville.

Don't waste the time. Portions are terrible and over priced. Food lacks flavor and the employees have no personality. Q Shack in Durham however, is always on point!

Well I will say the pulled chicken and pork were alright but I got the Beef Brisket and My plate had more fat on it than actual meat. I actually split it up to verify it cause I was shocked. I was quite upset about this especially since my portion for a plate order was half the size of the others. The Mac and cheese was pretty good too. But due to getting a plate full of Fat I will probably never eat at this location again. I have quite the anger issue so I didnt approach the staff in fear I might have lost control. Ten to one they didnt speak english very well so probably wouldnt have cared anyways. I usually never write reviews but it irritated me so bad I decided to write this one and to let them know I will never go to this location again and will be very hesitant on other locations.
