It saved our life! this is literally the closest one from twin peaks park if you dont have a car. they have awesome wunton soup, and great green tea from Taiwan. Their dim sum is great too. not pre-made.

On Saturdays Queen Malika Cafe is hosting pop-up Mama Ji for amazing dim sum and won ton soup.

The rest of the week you will find ritual coffee, great selection of teas, pastries from Sandbox bakery (Bernal Heights) and homemade pop tarts from Black Jet Baking!

And if that is not enough made to order crepes with all kinds of yummy filings, and Wifi!

Fast, friendly service in a great, understated little spot. I'm reading some of the neg reviews here and I am a little embarrassed for them. If you're a bougie San Francisco coffee snob that needs a place with a high design aesthetic and a lot of 20 somethings who really know how to wear black ignoring you while on their macbook pros-- then no, this isn't the place for you.

But if it's a nice day and you want a FANTASTIC crepe and a great espresso in a not-so-crowded spot with free wifi, chess, and outdoor seating, then you won't be disappointed. I used to be in the above group but my tastes are growing up.

I have been twice to this "restaurant". The first experience lasted less than five minutes. I had just moved to the area, and was looking for a "home" cafe, a place to hang out every time I needed to get out of the house. Queen Malika, from the outside, seemed like just the place.

I walked in, cheerful and jolly, looked at the menu, asked if they had Chai Tea Lattes, and was immediately asked for "4.50". I took out my credit card, and was told "cash only" in a heavy accent.

It just wasn't a good vibe.

I left.

The next time I came back was with a visiting friend who insisted I give it another chance.

Queen Malika is supposed to be known for it's crepes, but the last (and final) time I visited, I saw them carrying out pre-made store-bought crepes that were simply heated up, and the contents placed inside.

That's not even how they make them in the fast-food-crepe stores in Japan-town. Come on.

i've been to this cafe a few times now and while the service could use a little work the crepes are tasty and the coffee is drinkable. i haven't explored their menu entirely, but the savory salmon crepe and the sweet strawberry-banana-chocolate crepe are really good.

the first time i had brunch here with a friend, the guy working there sat us down at a table and brought us menus. it was actually really nice. the second time i was expecting the same level of service. instead i found that the guy working that day seemed a bit confused about what he was supposed to be doing, but at least he got me more coffee and my check when i asked. the third time i went in for breakfast I had to order at the counter and there was no table service.

this place has potential and i would say its a good place for people living in the neighborhood, but the service could stand to be a bit better.
