06/07/2016 6:03 amOld City locals "love the comfort and predictability" of this "friendly", well-priced "neighborhood bar" whose "outside-the-box" American fare and "excellent beer and spirits selection" lifts it above the mere "burger-and-beer-stop" level; ideal for a "casual night out", it's just the place whether "the snow is blowing, the Phillies are playing" or you need a "bite after the Arden Theater." |

05/21/2015 2:44 pmI came across this bar whilst enjoying the Craft Beer Express tour (the tour was amazing). This bar on the other hand was crowded, understaffed, and messy. After ordering 2 meals and 2 beers, I was treated very rudely and ignored for about 20min (all while I was standing at the bar). When I asked to speak with the manager I was told that I couldn't and that there was no manager at the bar. I asked again in disbelief that a place would be run without a manager on such a busy day. 20 additional minutes later when they actually let me speak with the manager, he basically told me that there are "2 sides to every story" and he didn't want to address any of my complaints. Mind you I am a paying customer at this point. I left this establishment without eating or drinking the food that I paid for because I was treated so rudely. |

02/11/2015 12:41 pmThis restaurant is a neighborhood bar with great food. There are craft beers and some unusual wines by the glass. The menu contains some very creative entrees. The Ahi tuna either as an entree or a sandwich is always cooked and seasoned to perfection. Gnocchi is also a winner. Their specials which change with local availability are definitely worth trying. No reservations but waiting at the bar is pleasant. A reliable choice for dinner. |
