Love how they prepare the steak, love the aged tender steaks. Always cooked in the right temperature I asked for, very important for me, most places overcooked the steaks. Mashed potatoes, cream spinish and mushrooms sides are all delicious. Don't forget to get lobster mac and cheese. Save room for dessert, dark chocolate moose and key lime pie are perfect after dinner.

Ray's the steak is all about the food and service. This is a first rate no-nonsense steakhouse. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Our huge aged bone in Ribeye was tender and cooked to perfection. The sides were also very good.
I would love to give the establishment 5 stars but as I said earlier this is a no-nonsense place - the atmosphere is that of an old hotel conference room. Efficient functionality carpeted in burgundy with nothing to attract attention or distract from the good steak.
If you're in the mood for an excellent reasonably priced upper-end no-nonsense steakhouse look no further than Ray's.

I heard a lot about Ray's from friends yet never gone till very recently. Started off with drinks but they do have a limited liquor menu if you are into whiskeys and scotches. Solid wine selections though. Got the strip 12oz with brandy mushroom sauce. Great cut of meat and was cooked almost perfect. This is huge for me since most other steakhouses I have to order a temp up to get what I want. Not at Ray's. Both mine and my friend's came out at a perfect medium rare and medium. Juicy and well seasoned. The atmo was nice, somewhat refined with white table cloths and just enough crowd noise to let you know it was a packed house. Great for a date or business dinner. Saw a variety of folks ranging in all ages and walks of life. Service was excellent and our waitress was attentive yet unobtrusive. The price was the best part. 25 for a hangar, 30 - 32 for a strip. I thought the quality of the steak could easily made it a 40 50 dollar night but not the case. I would recommend to friends just like they recommended to me. Plenty of street parking during dinner. Place gets packed so make a reservation.

Great quality steaks that you would find at a more expensive steak house. The prices are very reasonable, and you get excellent service. One of my favorite places toneat in the DMV area.

Great quality meats, very well priced, carefully curated wine list. Proof you don't have to break the bank for a good steak-night out. Been going there for many years and hope to continue to.
