Red Front, Rochester, New York Restaurant Details

Food:

Stopped in for breakfast while waiting on Amtrak. My sandwich was better than anything I've had in NYC for literally half the price. I lived in Rochester for 6 years and never even knew about Red Front. Always good to see places like this in the void that is downtown Rochester.

Food:

Advertises deliver downtown between 8 - 2. Called the day before to get deliver of breakfast. Wasn't here by 8:30. Called the restaurant several times. Finally answered and I was told there was no way they could deliver and they asked if they could call me when they could. Cancelled order and went to another venue.

Food:

Only liquor store in downtown but they don't accept anything but cash and the closest place to get cash, (World Wide News) their ATM was out of order. Make sure you bring those greenbacks. Good variety of liquor for a small store though.

Food:

This place has a rather musty smell and look but the burger I got was better than I expected. The bun was of a very good quality which I thought was cool. Fries cost extra which isn't as typical in my experience. The guy that served me was friendly. Overall, pretty good value for your money

Ok so let's just put it like this, growing up I visited this restaurant on a almost daily basis with my mother. I always loved this place, it has a hole in the wall diner feel with great food and prices. Other than that I will never step foot in this place again. To make a long story short I had my wisdom teeth removed and on my way home from the hospital the blood started to leak on my mouth. Red front was right on the way home so I stopped in and asked for a simple cup of water, all I got was a very rude lady telling me I have to buy food after I pleaded my mouth was bleeding. I get that I didn't buy anything but it's all about morals. If that's how they want to treat me than that's cool I will never ever in my life go there again
