Red Lobster, Buffalo, New York, Seafood Restaurant Details

Food:

Food tastes good. Service is good. Portions are big. Too much dressing on salads. Tap water tasted bad. Food is not too healthy. Silverware not that clean.

Food:

On May 18, 2014, we called ahead to put our names on the list. They said they no longer do that, "It just depends on when you get here." The wait time for the table was less than 10 minutes, not bad. Before reading this, keep in mind that the restaurant was less than Moderately busy.

When we got our Caesar Salads we (4 adults) all complained is was super thick and tasted like it was plan mayonnaise. The waitress removed two of our salad bowels but left the other couples bowls for a good 25 minutes, until she finally returned with the appetizers. She quickly left all of us wanting drink refills. I got upset and asked another waiter for the manager. 10 minutes later, Christopher comes over and I let him have it. I complained that we had been there 90 minutes and still no entree's to eat, the waitress never refilled our drinks, complained about the dressing, and we needed drink refills.

Now you know if someone asks for a manager at your table they are going to tell your waitress. She comes out with a basket of biscuits, asks if we would like drink refills, and that our meals are just coming up. So the manager, not the brightest person for handling problems when all 4 of us are complaining, decides to start talking about the salad dressing comes that way from the home office and he would like to take the appetizers off the bill? Really? That's the best you can do? Oh, by the way, the waitress turned around to greet a new table and take their drink orders. We waited another 15 minutes for the drink refills. Then she took their orders. Then FINALLY came with our food at almost 2 hours AFTER ordering it!!

I have already written a long letter of complaint to the corporate office to see how they feel about this. There is NO restaurant in the Amherst area where it is acceptable to make your paying guest wait 2 hours for the entree's.

Food:

I stopped by while on a business trip in the area. I had the "Duelling Lobsters" and peach tea based on the recommendation of my waitress, Kelsey. She did an excellent job. I sought out and spoke to the manager, Steve, to let him know that the whole staff there that night had done an excellent job at least during my visit. I look forward to my next stop and recommended dish.

Food:

On April 21, although we called an hour ahead, the reception desk said they never got the call and a wait could be 45 minutes. We were not the only people that experienced this. We were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary and were very upset. However, I spoke to the manager whose last name I believe was Genter, and he helped us out. We were seated after abour 15 minutes, and were given a free dessert for our trouble. His attitude made all the difference in saving the day. The general manager, Steve Kowakczek, has indeed hired some great people. By the way, the food was Excellent! Thank you.

Food:

The restaurant was clean and friendly. Our waitress was attentive, and the food was good. However, after eating we went to the mall. As we walked around the mall, I began to feel ill. I assume it had something to do with the food I ate. I won't go back.
