I'm a Red Lobster fan and this is our local restaurant so it's the one we frequent the most. I can't count how many times we have been here and I don't have any complaints so that's gotta say something. We've ordered the menu and had a huge bill, but we've also gone in for just soup and salad (and the insanely delicious biscuits, which you can eat as much as you want) and spent less than we would have at Applebees, etc. What I really like about it though, is that I know what the food tastes like, and that's consistent every time, so I'm not disappointed. I have no issues with the service there either.

OK, so since when if u want to substitute an item, they charge you 2.99 on top of your total, so what's the point on substitution? Then when you ask questions, the employee gets snappy? I cancelled my pick up order, will go somewhere else! Bad customer service!!

I found a moldy strawberry in my drink. I complained and was not offered anything to compensate. Moreover, how can you believe the ingredients are fresh if you find a rotten fruit and the waitress said that all of the strawberries they have are rotten! It all spoiled my birthday dinner. I won't come back there again!

I was lured by the lobster pizza and the coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp is a pretty reliable "Very Good" but I was disappointed by the lobster pizza. The langostino lobster has a mild flavor to begin with, but it was overpowered by bite size tomato pieces and mozzarella cheese. The pizza crust is about 1/4" thick and 8-9" in diameter. Even without the lobster, the pizza is pretty bland. I had to dip it in the coconut shrimp dipping sauce to give the pizza some flavor.

If you're headed for the appetizer, I would suggest the coconut shrimp and steer clear of the pizza. I don't the pizza faux pas is special to this restaurant, as I have had the lobster pizza in Boynton Beach and I ran into the same tasteless problem.

I've been a super happy Red Lobster fan for 25 years. And pretty much all of experiences have been at the Clearwater Red Lobster.

But two nights ago my wife, daughter and I ate there and an hour later my daughter and I had signficant food poisoning. I won't get into the symptoms but it was VERY uncomfortable.

My wife spoke to the Red Lobster manager who was "sympathetic" but basically said he couldn't do anything and that we'd hear from their insurance company.

I thought about it for awhile and realized it was more a civic duty to let it be known there was a problem with some item (or items) of food there.

At this point, I won't hold my breath on the insurance company getting a hold of me.
