A pleasant dinner with seafood options I'd consider to be rare

Quite possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had. We went early so we wouldn't have to wait. Ended up waiting 35 min while seeing dozens of empty tables because they apparently don't have the wait staff come in early. We sat at the bar while waiting. The bar was filthy with crumbs and used napkins and wrappers everywhere, so we had to sit at a dirty bar and watch some girl wander around behind the bar, doing nothing until the bartender showed up and asked her to help clean the bar. Bought some overpriced drinks while waiting ( over $11 for a beer and a mixed drink). Finally got seated at the worst table there. Right at the entrance to the dining area and also right next to the galley, so every single customer, waiter, bus person, etc. walked right by us all though our dinner. Every time someone opened the outside door, we got a cold breeze. It was not pleasant at all. The waitress was a little weird and somewhat inept. She kept "leaning in" over our table and would get right in your face. That was not good, especially when we had food on the table. We noticed other customers seated after us receiving food before us. She really wasn't a very good waitress. And because of our location, the floor manager kept standing behind my wife and observing the dining area. That was annoying...talk about no privacy. The floor manager looked like someone who just rolled out of bed....shabbily dressed and hair a mess. OK, on to the food. Most of it was pretty good, but the lobster was terrible. It was puny and didn't even taste like lobster.

I've been to Red Lobster before and always enjoyed it, but this last time was not pleasant at all, and I really don't know if I will ever go there again. If the rest of the chains are like this one, I can see why Darden sold them off.

Go somewhere else. It was fun when I was a kid, but with two crab shacks (joes down street) that serve high quality seafood (big shrimp, big crab legs) go there. Its over priced.
