I would give Joanina a "5 star" rating but the seating is difficult. I've been seated at the same table (despite a request to sit elsewhere, so I'm guessing preferential treatment is given to regulars) several times and it's right next to a freeway between the kitchen and bar. This makes for a meal interrupted by waiters and patrons rushing by constantly. Parking is not very easy either, especially if the movie across the street is busy. The secret to overcoming the parking and seating issue is to get there early!

But, oh the food! And the decor is definitely akin to an Italian cantina. No matter what I've ordered, it was excellent. Even something as basic as lasagna was well executed and a notch above others. The insalata di mare (cold seafood salad) was big enough for two. The specials are always interesting and delicious. Even the espresso and cappuccino were heads' above the typical Illy offering.

We just had our daughter's baby shower there and were so highly satisfied not only with the service, the decor, the food, how we were handled by the entire staff from the moment we booked it. We will gladly plan on booking there for future celebrations. One of the only times that no hidden costs occurred. A friendly owner who ensured that the party went off without any problems whatsoever.

gracious hosts, cute decor, great service-good wine choices. wonderful place for wood burning pizzas and salads-wonderful way to spend a friday night. one of our go to favorites and the pink rose for the women with the check is a sweet touch

I took my girlfriend their for valentines day 2010, they had a price fix menu. I LOVED the filet mignon, she said she also loved her chicken plate.

The set back is im huge on booths, I only saw tables, but the tables are private, but all the tables are very close to eachother, I suppose its because im so use to Chili's and Fridays, where the tables are atleast 4 feet from eachother..

If that doesnt bother you its a great time. The drinks are absolutely delicious, a bit strong, but nothing a plastic straw cant fix.

Bill came out to $125 and i left a $30 tip.. The menu was pricefixed at 48 dollars each. I absolutely got every penny worth. The steak was to die for.

Im 24 years old, so although it looks like an older crowd's type restaurant, dont stress it
