We hadn't realized the menu had changed when we went. We had always loved it here back when it was Mediterranean and tapas. I'm of Scandinavian heritage and was pretty excited to try the new offerings. I must tell you, it was terrible--and EXPENSIVE! We ordered some sort of sausage appetizer that amounted to 3 little chunks of sausage in some cream of mushroom soup for about $15. My steak was chewy and grisly. My husband had boar that was dry and over salted. We have no plans to return.

We had food from the Scandinavian version of the menu. The Potato Tarrine was too salty to eat. When I say too salty, I don't mean saltier than I would like...I mean it tasted like pure salt with a potato texture. The garnish with the Potato Tarrine was the best part. The Lamb special was overcooked and the accompanying sauce was very sweet. What is funny is that this dish lacked salt. The wild boar loin was over cooked and dry. After a few bites, I just started to taste like jerky. We didn't bother with dessert. I would not recommend this Scandinavian food to my dog.

I've begged the bartenders for the recipe, batted eyelashes, nothing seems to work. It is THE best chocolate martini in Madison, period. Oh yeah, the food is pretty good, too. A little pricey, but a fun, unique atmosphere. Did I mention the chocolate martinis??

I went there tonight (Valentines Day) for the first time. The service was pretty good, but like others are saying, the food is overpriced. The tables are really close together, which was a drawback because we were expecting something a little more private. Leave the kids at home! There was a baby and it's family leaving as we were arriving, and there was food strewn everywhere on the ground. Didn't really fit the mood. : /
If you don't mind shelling out a little cash, it is a nice restaurant with delicious food.

My fiancée and I ate here last night for the first time since they changed the menu to Scandinavian and were blown away. It was the best dining experience I have had in Madison in a long time. I tried Wild Boar for the first time and it was delicious. For an appetizer we had the sashimi tuna served on a salt block. This to was great. We look forward to eating here again soon.
