I believe it was the owner who came over and was extremely kind and helpful. She made my table feel very welcome and the food was wonderful! There was a wide variety and everything we ordered was delicious.

They open until 2AM. Serve authentic Korean food. Great for larger groups. Would either go here or Minga if wanna have Korean.

I wish I had an option to give this restaurant no star at all. I have never felt this humiliated in any restaurant. Worst service ever doesn't come close to describe my experience at sSilla. I put in a to go order and they had said they were busy so it will take about 30 minutes. I said okay and left my house accordingly. When I got there, they haven't even started my order and said it was going to take them extra 30 minutes for my order. Supposedly, one of the new server forgot to place my to go order in. Mistakes happen, I just wanted to know if they could make my order a priority since I've been waiting so long. The server brushed me off like it was no big deal for me to wait for an hour to get my lunch, when I received no apology from any staff, I demanded to talk to a manager. Their "boss" came out and yelled at me for bringing her out from the kitchen because she was in process of making my order. She said by talking to her I'm only making myself wait longer. She yelled at me "cancel or wait?!?". Thinking back, I'm still furious. I do not recommend this restaurant. I don't see how the restaurant is surviving under a manager as ridiculous as she is.

This is the restaurant that my husband and I go to for a large selection of banchan (side dishes). The menu is wide and varying and you can certainly have a Bourdain experience if you want it and I am sure that it would be delicious. I have never had a bad service experience unlike previous reviewers. I am not Korean, though I am Asian, and I typically visit with American friends. In fact, most of my friends really enjoy the motherly care that they receive from the waitresses. The cost is a bit higher compared to other Asian establishments, but you get a wide range of choices and the decor is nice enough for a date.
