Fantastic meal, wait staff was fast and attentive, the food was simply amazing... We had the petite portions which were just right, although in hind site I should have gone for a full sized for left overs! My
Kalbsgeschnetzeltes was just over the top - so tender and full of flavor. Get it with Spätzle for one of the sides... I had this one one of the german tap beers, so smooth and drinkable - not overly hoppy / sharp like the current trend in American beers. Highly recommended.

My husband and I ended up at Richards after "our place" ended up being closed on our Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised at the warm environment and the authenticity of the food. The staff was very nice and seemed to know a lot about the menu. We split a strudel to start and then ordered the sampler that had a little of everything as well as the stuffed pork loin, both were amazing (our bill was also under $50 for all that food). It was great for us to be able to try a variety of authentic German food that has a homestyle touch, we will absolutely be back!

We have eaten here somewhere between 10 - 20 times over the past 4 years, and have ALWAYS had a wonderful meal. We have brought friends and family here and no one has ever complained.

We lived in Germany in the 1970s and was craving some German food. We were a bit apprehensive as we had tried several restaurants in the past and was disappointed with the authenticity of the food.
We decided to try Richards in Brunswick and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Rhenischer Sauerbraten (pot roast) and my husband had the German Sampler (a variety of German foods) The food was delicious, the presentation wonderful and the service top notch. Next time we want a trip down memory lane, we will head to Richards in Brunswick. Danke schön, Chef Gnauck
