I am not one to make reviews online but I had recently had a welcome home celebration for my son from overseas and was looking for a place to get some catered foods and stumbled upon this deli. I ordered 2 - 6ft heros a classic Italian and american. The bread was fresh and also was the first time I seen one sliced in 3 sections so the meats were separated from the lettuce and tomatoes which I thought was a pretty cool idea. Also decided to get some hot food as well and got this chicken and broccoli in a cheese sauce dish and some eggplant rollatini for my vegetarian daughter which the owner was happy to fry separately upon my request. I will be going back to this place for all my catering needs, can't wait for football to start planning on getting heros from here for my parties.

Great Food and Quick service!!!! I typically run late in the morning to catch my train at the deer park train station, regardless of when I get to the deli Rick has my order ready usually before I can even order. Most places don't provide free coffee with their breakfast sandwiches anymore but Rick has stayed true to his customers. Prices are great to, $3 for an egg sandwich and coffee.

I started going to this deli several weeks ago. I noticed from the start this guy (Rick) has an attitude problem, never smiles, no good morning and has a filty mouth. I dealt with the issue until I realized this.

I don't care how good his breakfast is, he talks and treats people (myself) like he's doing you a favor. Just today Dec 16th 2009,
I mentioned to him he misunderstood that I wanted... more bacon and ham and no sausage the day before. No crime commited,I dealt with it but did mention it today.

He said,"you said sausage (I just love people that are in denial or can't admit their wrong don't you?) In the same breath, he's started to curse teach me how I should order my breakfast to avoid the confusion (yes because he did not pay attention to begin with!) He siad, say it this way so this don't f***kin happened again OK! He is a loww life and I'll never give him my business again.

By the way, I took my business to the bagel store opposite this rude misrerable no good. They all seem to know about what I'm posting here. They said alot of people stopped going in his store..Gee..I wonder why???
