11/12/2015 8:35 pmSpacious multi-level, multi-bar restaurant which serves fast and reasonably-priced Mexican food, a great happy hour, and a wide variety of margaritas. The outdoor rooftop seating is perfect in the summer, especially with a nice cold margarita (careful, they're strong!). |

10/25/2015 12:08 amDon't come here expecting high quality food. Their cheese dip is melted velveeta, and their tortillas are the ones you can get in a pack of 48 for $3 at safeway. You could get better quality for your money elsewhere. |

09/07/2015 7:29 pmI would not recommend coming here. The service was abysmal. The food was ok, and with all the great restaurants in boulder, why settle for ok? There are much better places to get good Mexican food. The hostess was so aloof, I think the only reason she had the job was because she looked good in a short skirt. She was a complete ditz and had that airhead 'valley girl' thing going on. Our server for the night was a walking, talking, definition of incompetence. I can literally say that he didn't make eye contact with anyone at our table the entire night. He just kept staring over our heads like this job was beneath him, though I think it was quite a bit above his abilities because he sucked at it! If you work in the service industry, looking at someone when you're talking to them is kind of standard. Anyways, the only reason I'm not giving this place one star is because the two margaritas I had while waiting an hour for a table (the hostess told us a 20 minute wait btw) took some of the edge off the shitty service and substandard food. |

04/27/2015 1:31 amSuch a good experience, recently moved to CO from AZ and I've been trying to find a decent Mexican place here. Rio Grande just might be it, the food was really tasty and came with a punch of spice, everything was flavorful and you can't beat the atmosphere. There was a great mariachi band playing, and the Chimichanga is awesome. It was a bit on the louder side of things, so if you want to catch up with friends this might not be the best place to pick. |

11/30/2015 8:15 pmYou go for the "superlative", "crazy-strong margaritas" at this "vibrant", "festive" local Mexican chain, but you "stay for the quesadillas" and "to-die-for chiles rellenos", all delivered by a "cheerful" staff; most of its "young, noisy clients" find the costs "reasonable", though a couple of "more refined palates" deem them "overpriced"; P.S. the Boulder location boasts an "incredible rooftop deck." |
