06/02/2013 1:03 pmInitially went to Fresco's next to the 410 restaurant, and the host stuck his nose in the air when we asked to be called for a table for two. A Ca Mia sat us down immediately. The reason for no potatoes in their New England Clam Chowder is due to all the delicious clams in it; there was no room for potatoes in that dish! The waiters, waitresses, and bus boys give you space as you eat, too, so theres no reason to feel rushed. Serving you one course at a time, the table never gets cluttered with plates. The atmosphere is very tranquil, with their music slightly louder than elevator music, it adds to the background ambiance. Delicious food, pleasant staff, relaxing atmosphere, I will definitely go to this restaurant again when I come back to Cape May for a vacation. |

12/11/2012 6:57 pmFour of us had lunch on a cold winter day. Two of us had a Capricola and Provolone sandwich with a bowl of soup. Fantastic! the clam chowder did not have potatoes, but had the most tender clams I've ever had in chowder. The Italin vegetable was nicely spiced and full of tender vegetables. The sandwiches had excellent Capricola and a tremendous, aged Provolone that was amazing. The ladies each opted for BLT's. They came with a large portion of Applewood bacon and very tasty tomatoes, even though it's December. Service was bit slow since there was only one server for about half a dozen tables. However the server was very knowledgeable (important because one of our party has food allergies) and friendly. Will make a point of stopping here on our next Cape May trip. |
