Took company for dinner there. Raved about their crabs. So embarrassed! Awful! Seasoned salt dumped over all the crabs. None of us could eat our meal. Who was your chef? Needs to be fired.

No longer called the Riviera. New owner seems like a good dude. Food was good. That's 5 in my book.

Not a all what it used to be ,over priced for the under-whelming food and rude service.
We have been visiting for six years but this was the last time. Food was cold and strange tasting, when we finally managed to flag down the owner instead of taking care of the problem promptly he went to find our absent waitress. Went she finally returned with hot food it tasted worse than first order and as if it had just been dumped back into the fryer, greasy and strange.
And by the way if it is not Grouper but some substitute then do not put Grouper on the menu, put the name of whatever fish it is.
Waitress charged for food and drinks never delivered and when asked about it stated we had never ordered the food or drinks, if that was so we asked when the bill showed up then why did you write it on the check and charge us for it.
Went into a tirade about how we were to demanding.
No all we wanted was a waitress that came back with what we ordered and checked on us at least once after the meal was served. Do not think they enjoy being in the craft any more as they do not act like it

This used to be OUR place. We would go there every other weekend for sure and sometimes during the week. The last time we went, it was awful. The salad was brown bits of lettuce like from a bag. Their pina colada couldn't be beat. Not anymore!! Yuck. The food was cold. It is a shame that such a great restaurant has fallen into disgrace like this. Is it that hard to make good, fresh food?
We live here all year long, but had to take the ROB off of our list of places to go and take our visitors.
