The French Dip sandwich originated in LA, Phillipe's and Cole's claim to be the originator, nonetheless each sammie was dipped in the Au Jus prior to serving, and those really loving the Au Jus, opts for a "double-dip" meaning a double dunk. None of this crap having a cup of Au Jus on the side. Soggy-er the better you figging dolts. I bet the same people hatin' on this place thinks the Olive Garden is the pinnacle of Italian food.

I have been all over the world and have had some amazing foods in my travels. So when visiting a friend in Seattle, Wa I had a desire to go eat some original French Dip sandwich.
Google had very limited options and the only one that seemed original and true to the standard was Rizzo's. So, my last day Saturday I told my friend that I wanted to walk there -she lives down town and Google said it was an hour and a half walk- so we walked. 3 hours later we get to this tiny restaurant to find out it was sold out of two giant beef pcs and they were making some more. My feet were sore and I was going nowhere.
The whole time they played Tom Jones one of my favorites and everyone was very hospitable. I live in Austin and raised in Dallas so this city girl was feeling their down home hospitality.
They had great service and the three hour wait to eat this tasty treat was well worth it. I was enjoying myself so much, the time just flew. Then, one of their good friends Murphy offered to give us a ride back home -smack in the down town area- but, first he gave us a sightseeing tour up the Queen hill that was world class first rate. I had an amazing time, so sad that I had to leave, but I will be back because it was that good of an experience.
