Went here because it was one of the few places in Riverside where they had linguine and clams on the menu. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Tuesday and were the only patrons in the whole restaurant. Ordered bruschetta for appetizer, was very vinegary, but edible. Salad came next and was delicious. Linguine and clams came out and there was no seasoning whatsoever. WTH? No garlic, no butter, no salt, no wine,no pepper and almost no juice in the bowl. I almost cried. My dining partner order chicken parmigiana and declared it was akin to eating a frozen version (Stouffers?). We decided to take a chance and order cannoli for dessert, it was edible but not very good.

The service was superfast (probably because we were the only ones there, lol) the whole dinner from appetizer to dessert to the time the bill came was approx. 30 minutes long. The wait staff was super solicitous and friendly, the prices were reasonable (we spent about $43 overall, not including tip), but next time we will not be so cheap and drop a few extra bucks to get an italian meal worth eating.

You definitely get what you pay for at Romano's Italian Restaurant.
