02/26/2012 9:35 pmI tok my wife to the Milwaukee location for lunch today. Tasteless on the roasted chicken pasta and no chicken at all. I counted 6 pcs about a dime size that could have been really anything but roasted. The sauce was run to the bottom and melted butter would have more taste. after alot of salt and pepper it was at least able to tell there was something on the pasta. The pasta was cooked OK. My wife ordered the chicken scalopeni (sp) and there was a sizable amount of chicken and veggies but still tasteless |

01/31/2012 12:51 amI got sick while eating at Romano's and definately would not recommend this place to anyone - they refused to help pay for my emergency room visit, and were very rude when I asked for help in paying my $1400.00 doctor and hospital bills. |

01/08/2012 7:07 amI first went to Macaroni Grill over ten years ago and the food was damn good and the service was superb! I would only stop in on my way through town because I didn't live near a Macaroni Grill. I went again 5 years ago and the food was just ok. I ordered a panacotta for dessert and instead of tasting of cream like it used to, it tasted just like tapioca pudding. I went back to the restaurant tonight and there is no way I will ever be going back. If you never tasted what MG used to be you might think it's just an average restaurant, nothing special at all, but I remember how it used to taste so I went in with higher expectations. The portions are much, much smaller and the menu has been reduced to just one long sheet of options. The waitress took a long time to come to our table, thats not a big deal, I went for the food, not the service. My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers, oven roasted artichokes (tasted ok) and goat cheese stuffed peppers (very tasty.) They came one minute before our food did. I ordered pasta milano and all i could taste was garlic, which I love, but it was way too much. My husband who isn't a picky eater had the shrimp portofino and he said it was very bland. I didn't taste it however, cause I'm allergic to shrimp, but it didn't look very appetizing. We skipped dessert because we didn't want to be let down any further. Oh, also the menu includes calorie counts of every menu option, because they went healthier instead of tastier. Sorry to ramble just wanted to give anyone a heads up that hasn't been to MG in years. |

02/16/2011 7:55 pmWe entered around 4:30pm yesterday (Tuesday) to an empty restaurant. Despite this, the hostess (blonde girl) took about 5 minutes to seat us while sitting at her station and having to get different menus. She then seated us at a dirty table and was rude to us when asked to wipe the food and oil off the seat, it was a mess. We almost left right then, and later regretted not doing so. The entire rest of our visit she sat at her station by the entrance, eating food, drinking and chatting with any employee that walked by. Even going as far as licking food off her hands multiple times. It was really a gross spectacle! We were very disappointed, my mistake for taking someone here to celebrate a special event. We were even served cold coffee! |

11/28/2009 9:09 amI definitely can see supporting your home town college football team, but...??? We ate at MG today - a BSU game day - the staff were all dressed in various worn looking BSU shirts and wrinkled/faded jeans. Yuk! Each looked as if they should be outside doing yard work or at a tailgate beer party! Also, we were seated in a booth directly beneath a window which was filled with giant spider webs and dead flies on the windowsill. So gross! |
