Food:

Although out of the way on Avenue C and generally pretty ordinary, this East Village saloon is worth stopping by for its awesome eponymous burgers washed down with low-key quaffs; commoners note the prices are a relative bargain, and that year-round garden seating a nice touch.

Food:

Somehow a mediocre place in the grand scheme of authentic Latin fare - it's not bad but not above the average either. They do offer a funky atmosphere, complete with dark wood and red candlelight, the food is good and drinks are very good. Price is okish...

Food:

Excellent food, but cramped and extremely especially if you're seated near the open kitchen. If you come be at least 3 to grab a better table.

Food:

Pretty good drinks if nothing particularly special or noteworthy. The margarita list is extensive and pretty solid. The beer list is not. There are only 2 beers on tap including Corona. The beer and margaritas concoction was good, but for those with less of a taste for tequila, you are a bit out of luck. Service was good though completely unremarkable.

Food:

The food is here is decent, but nothing to rave about (with perhaps the exception of the Al Pastor tacos, which are pretty good). The real gem at this place is the "Spicy Mango" margaritas, which are absolutely _fantastic_. The bar area is really small, tight, and crowded, so it is often worth sitting down to eat if only to have elbow room to down the margaritas.

SHANE SHANE SHANE!!! As a former bartender myself, I know the importance of building a great clientele, and Shane does that with barely a flick of his hand! Out of the few times I have been to D.R., I have come to learn that the bar is the place to be to get great service, witty commentary, excellent music, and all-around good times! The last time I came here with some friends we joined him Shane at the bar for the unlimited brunch - let me tell you we left happy, satisfied, and with a delightful buzz :) The food is great and the ambiance is fun and lighthearted. Worth hitting up for the bartender alone!
