Ruby Tuesday, Montgomery, Alabama Restaurant Details

Food:

I had the ribs, my wife had the chicken fresco. Both were equally great, we sat in the bar area service was great. The manager even came by just to check on us.

Food:

My family and I went in and told us we would have to wait 10-15 min. I was thinking why are we waiting when at least 20 tables were open. My dad eventually ask why we had to wait, and they said because the servers were backed up. Most restaurants seat you anyway and the server will tell you when they can make it too you. We are out of town guest that will never return to that restaurant again!

Food:

Poor service unprofessional so un-wellmannered every thing everybody is saying is so true they need to be shut down or replaced with well mannered people .the place is nasty and disgusting we had hair in our food twice they are so rude no manners the sad thang about it is they in eastchase a bad look i would never advise anyone to go there its so bad it need to be reported and shut down there men workers have dreads and wasnt wearing nets thats explains why we had hair in our food twice and never did i waiter apologize or assisted us for better she walked off and just took the plate like it was cool sad someone really need to do some bout this they nasty and rude i wouldnt bring my dog in there to eat now thats sad i hope someone take this in consideration cause i want be going back and this was march the 15th 2015

After waiting 25 mins for our meal we asked about how much longer. The waitress then informed us it would be another 35 mins.... seriously? Who waits an hour for food…. CHECK PLEASE

I will not be going back to this Ruby Tuesday ever again!

We go in and the hostess is nice and seats us promptly, it wasn't very busy to begin with, so that was nice. however it took longer 10 mins before the waitress came to ask for our drinks. by the time she got to us we had viewed the menu and knew exactly what we wanted to eat.

So she bring us the water that we ordered with the biscuits that RT now have. I went to pick up my cup of water and could feel the dirt on the glass. looked into the glass there were brown specks inside the glass. my bf's glass was dirty as well. we asked for clean cups and unfortunately my second cup was just as dirty (if not worse). the second glass had some type of citrus pulp stuck on the insides and this time stuff was floating in the water...I asked for a to go cup, which they only had in the kiddie size. the biscuits were fine.

We should have left after that, but we decided to stay. I mean I have been to more upscale restaurants that have had something on their glasses. so the appetizer and drink from the bar comes out. the appetizer were the tempura green beans, nice serving size, but were more like big balls of dough covering green beans. they tasted good though, not enough of the sauce to go with the beans. the salted caramel apple martini wasn't bad, but not good. and they didn't put the fruit garnish on in the drink. I am a stickler for adding the garnish to drinks. i must say it was weak.

So the dinner comes out: I ordered the Caribbean Chicken and Coconut Shrimp with a baked potato and broccoli. My BF ordered the Chicken and mushroom Pasta dish. well, my food comes out and the waitress sits the plates down and leave. I tried to wait for her to come back, but it took a while and so I go up and went to the hostess station and picked up my own menu so that I could check the food and of course they sent out the wrong food...we waited forever and I got the wrong food. since I stopped the waitress while i was not at my table, I only asked for the mango salsa,but when I got back i noticed the chicken was wrong as well. so she took the whole plate back and by the time I got my second round, which was brought to us by the manager, my bf was finished with his food (considering i did eat some of his). while he waited for me to finish, he ordered a long island Iced tea. it was weak and had red stuff floating in it. he didn't send it back because at this point he was just tired.

The only reason this place got more than one star is because the manager comped us the meal that was messed up and apologized promptly. the waitress wasn't bad, but she didn't seem like she was in a good mood. I believe the people at the other table was giving her a hard time. my bf did tip her appropriately, despite the horrible experience.

I have been to several RT and never had this type of experience. I live in Charlotte, NC and was here visiting before moving here. we have learned through my bf's coworkers here in AL that many places here offer crap service, but I didn't expect this bad.

I couldn't bring myself to give one star.
